Hi! I’m Kate, and it’s my honor to welcome you to The Solace Space—where yoga, healing, and community come together to support you through life’s many waves.
Whether you're stepping onto the mat, receiving energy work, or joining a retreat or gathering, my mission is to create spaces where you can show up exactly as you are—rooted in presence, guided by compassion, and held in connection.

MEET KATE
My life and work experience have primed me to be an expert space holder, community builder, and curator of deeply transformational experiences.
I am a former elementary school dual language teacher turned multi-passionate entrepreneur that is devoted to making sure that everyone I work with feels seen, supported, and cared for.
I discovered yoga when I was 17, initially drawn in by the sense of calm and connection it offered. Over the years, my practice deepened, and it was during a book club reading of The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali that I realized I had found the spiritual home I had always been seeking.
In 2017, I completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training with Passion Yoga School in Costa Rica—it was a truly life-changing experience that changed the course of my life forever.
A few years later in 2020, I began my 300-hour training with The Jiiva Center just months after my father passed away. That training, and my practice, became my anchor during one of the most painful seasons of my life.
Losing my dad to terminal cancer was a heartbreaking experience that reshaped everything I thought I knew. Grief became an unexpected companion, and through yoga, energy work, and intentional community, I found my way back to moments of peace, presence, and even joy.
Creating The Solace Space was born from that journey—a desire to share the tools and practices that helped me heal and reconnect with life.
My hope is to offer you the same sense of grounding, support, and renewal, wherever you are on your own path.
THE VISION
For me, solace is a feeling, an experience.
That beacon of light and hope in the midst of darkness,
like the sun emerging from behind the clouds after a storm.
I created The Solace Space as a sanctuary for yoga, healing, and community —a place to reconnect with yourself, to find peace in the present moment, and to soften into whatever season of life you’re moving through…
